Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

turn men into beasts

Winter had finally, begrudgingly, settled its heavy hand over the Lagoon. Tyr might have accused the snow that covered the ground and rested on his back the reasoning behind the quiet, but the stallion knew better. Knew that the deafening silence was due to the lack of stallions that now called the brotherhood home. The giant of a brute could not fathom what had went wrong, or the step he misplaced in trying to make it more welcoming somehow. Had he not stomped down his desires to take enough to entice others? Or was the it the lack of evil the Islands seemed to think they had, on why stallions no longer slunk into the Lagoon’s precious shadows to claim as their own?

Or was it their missing Boss that had made the men scatter?

Tyr snorted, the sound harsh and echoing, but he didn’t care. Ears tipped back into his tangles of pale mane; the stallion finally moved from the cover he had taken beneath a pair of knotted willow trees. There, in its shelter, Vadim still rested on the ground where the white powder could not touch him. Tyr did not plan to go too far from his son. At least while the boy slept so vulnerable. But the General could not take this situation much longer. Something needed to be done, and it was clear that a miracle wasn’t going to come into play. Tyr would need to do it instead.

The battled scarred stallion’s deep bellowing call erupted across the Lagoon, beckoning anyone who still remained.
