- the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
- anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
- adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
- the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
- the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
Karma’s calling and I hope I can run. {ESCAPE}

Time had been of the essence one winter morning. Salem was warm and kept fur from growing thick, but a slightly swollen body with aching legs raced down the boarder of the Badlands and splashed into the salty ocean. Ears were tucked tight to a light colored head as eyes of green blazed with fear and worry. Muscles pushed and pulled against the ocean with the need to flee. The need to escape.

Pushing through the ocean with coughing breaths, Eira almost screamed in fright when the sound of a splash echoed behind her. Looking over her shoulders, Eira about gasped out a sigh of relief when water filled her mouth and she was forced to cough it out. Behind her Snapdragon followed, an odd bond having grown between the two mares. Snapdragon was following her away from the Badlands. She had offered this to the young horse a while ago and it seemed that the young lagoon born equine was taking her up on the deal.

Swimming through the ocean with their bodies vanishing into the early dawn sun, Eira and Snapdraggon held onto each other before the beach of a new island rose before them. Eira didn't know entirely where she was until her hooves pulled her onto sturdy soil and the scent of forest entered her nose. She had managed to get to Luthien, a place she hoped would aid in her escape from that of Arsinoe. Shaling the salty ocean from her fur, Eira bumped Snapdragon gently before they were both off, running deeper into the horse scent filled territory.

Gearing into the Prarie, Wira opened her lips and cried out hoping anyone around would hear her call. “Please help me!” Eira didn't care if this place could hold ties to the Badlands. She didn't want to be stuck with Arsinoe and that other mare. She was tired of politics and games. All Eira wanted was a home where she could be free to choose her life with that of her unborn child.
