Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

There is no outward reaction to her body language. Between the nearly pinned ears and literally turning her back to him, it is right about what the young male expects from her. Aside from the obvious distaste for his presence, Alioth is glad to see that his question surprises her in at least some small way. He derives pleasure from the fact that the mare answers him at all instead of darting into the foliage: 'about when I was happy.'

Alioth's dark eyes slide to the ground as he considers her words, knowing already that he has likely stared at her far too long. He'd known happiness: playing with his mother and sister, shadowing Sephiroth, and learning to spar with the stallions here in the Lagoon. A nagging suspicion told him that her story would be vastly different from his own. As far understood it, she hadn't come here willingly.

He decides not to look at the mare this time, though he does casually stroll in an arc to face her head-on once more. "Do you want to talk about it," the Appaloosa offered quietly. His own tail smacks away the lingering flies-- the one thing he doesn't like about the Lagoon, that and his few superficial ties to the other brothers. The fact remains that he wants to talk to someone, to feel close with another being somehow, even if just for a minute. Maybe she did, too.

Alioth
