Standing under the shade of a palm tree near an oasis, Octavius looked towards the distant ocean. He had been silent since that day of meeting Asmodeus’s son, but that was starting to wear on his bones. Being a herd animal meant he should go out and seek the herd in which he resided, but for some reason the draft had yet to search any of them out and just enjoy quiet company. His soft eyes blinked as his mind wandered over those simple facts, but soon enough the draft let out a heavy sigh and shifted his body towards where the rest of the herd mingled.


Lifting one large hoof and then another, Octavius moved over the territory in the cool of the sunset. The fall was here and it eased some of the heat of this island, but it was not entirely perfect either. Sweat still pulled at him faintly and his thin coat now looked more like a shined out stone instead of a bushy boulder. It was nice and all to be less hairy in certain aspects, but the drafts broom feet still caused some issues when sand got caught super thickly through the long strands and caused rashes.


Far enough away from his hidey hole, Octavius let himself stop at another section of cooler sand and closed his eyes. His large frame stood steady, but he listened and waited silently for anyone that could be passing by and maybe searching for company. He was not quite ready to go out on his own and ask for company, but he no longer wanted to be entirely alone and it showed as he waited for anyone else to pass by.
