I've been in here long enough, seen people come and go and realize everone here's in a negative rut. I dunno of all radio people are that way, but they are in here. Very unhappy. And theres no respect for their management. And often who are working for competitors, not realizing they're just sitting in a different lifeboat with no place to go...just like you.
Have you noticed how everyone but me protect their identities? Go way out of their way to do that while trashing their coworkers or bosses?
Why is that? Why do you? I woudln't get too self righteous. Step back and do a little self assessment. Why are you here..to learn more about radio from me and Olinek? Have YOU been in here reading my drivel for 30 years? I don't think Gateway's been here for 30 years. I know I haven't.
Seems to be very common people just make up shit when they don't know. Religion's been doing that for 3,000 years. And a lot of people gullibly believe it.
Its no coincidence that people who have been to university, learned how to think, apply critical thinking skills to things they hear and just don't fall for it.
Thats why religion has a hard time getting well educated followers. You do realize most messages that come out of radios are persuasion bullshit. Artists sing songs making up lyrics. Advertisers put lipstick on pigs and they pay them to do it. Lawyers are hired liars. And bosses want to get as much productivity for as little money as you'll accept. And if you leave, they will just find another guy whose hungry until HE gets wise and leaves.
