Raini chuckled at Nico discription of him when he was young. I’m sure you were a menace. She said But if he turns out anything like you did, then I’ll be happy and he’ll hopefully be someone elses problem she said with a chuckle.
Accepting the gentle touch she smile. Thank you Nico she said with sincerity. He had no idea how long it had been since she could sleep without having to keep one eye open to protect herself and her son. When he left she dropped her head down to sleep.
At some point in the night the yearling colt had gone down to sleep, his mother slightly hesitant but trust they were safe dropped down beside him, her head resting over his back as she finally got some decent sleep.
When she awoke she knew two things. That it was getting light out and that her wayward child was gone. Slightly impressed with his ability to get up and sneak away from her without her waking she pulled herself to her feet before shaking out her coat before heading off to see if she could locate her child.
Tino had woken early, filled with excitement that he hadn’t be able to wait till his mother woke. So he had slowly slowly creeped out from laying by his mother. Once on his feet he grinned noticing his mother was still asleep. Taking off at a trot he looked around, looking for well, anyone. He wanted to meet others and play and explore and everything!
