Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to

and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Kythri (Khyber x Lavender)
Solas (Khyber x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

when you search the dark, you get dark things

When the smoky cream male came into full view, Saphris forced herself to casually came to a stop. Nervousness mounted inside the young mare. She had gotten closer to the border unimpeded than she ever thought possible. The appearance of the current Marauder in her path just as she was at the edge of the Lagoon was nearly enough to make the sabino turn tail. Her mother had gotten it into her head that none of the men here could be trusted and that Saphris should run at the first sign of one.

More seasoned mares would have scoffed and refused to answer, or given some kind of sarcastic remark. Her ears-- one white, one black-- splayed a little at the stallion's question, betraying some of her inexperience. Saphris' voice distinctly lacked that force when she responded and, in two syllables, somehow managed to convey the exact opposite of what the maiden said.

"Nowhere."

It was an idiotic answer. Saphris knew it as soon as the word left her mouth. It was all the blue girl could do not to cringe at herself. Wouldn't it be obvious to the painted male what her intent had likely been? He wasn't stupid. Very few of the men were, despite the insults she'd grown up hearing her mother lob at them. Saphris eyed the Marauder apprehensively, wondering what he would do or say next.
