The baby was healthy a day thriving. She was happy to have another strong daughter (she loved raising daughters) and glad this one has made it this far. Ever since Lati she still got nervous up until a certain point of the foal's life, but so far little Calanthe was doing great. She thought hard about bringing the filly to meet her father. Parvati had decided not to just in case the foal was not strong enough. Though she wanted to badly because Sigmumd has went missing just before she gave birth.

She had an idea where the stallion had gone after their last conversation. She feared he could not return. Actually, she knew in her bones that he couldn't. It was been a month and she felt like a horrid sister. For now going to look for him or telling Nicodemus where he went. She just knew he was dead and there was nothing they could do about it. Besides, are couldn't leave Calanthe until she knew for sure the foal was healthy. The filly had not reached a point where she was beginning to feel comfortable to leave her with someone.

Lati had not gone away in the first few days.

"Come baby," She coos to her month old newborn as she trots towards the sea. She would look out and maybe, just maybe, see her brother coming back home. The ex-leader did not make it far before a call for her was ringing out. Knowing exactly who it was, her steps became bouncy as she made her way towards him. "Hey there sweetums!" She exclaims as she comes closer to nuzzle his strong shoulder. She was too afraid to ask right out the gate if being here meant Sigmund had reached the Badlands.

Then again, he did have a child to meet.
