White hot rage beat itself against her ribcage. The bright spring sun, the hot sands of Salem, and the stench of her brother. Baba Yaga had to suffer it all, but there was a reason for it. Lucifer had come for Ceyx, one of her members. She had won that round, but it was time for her demonic sibling to realize she wasn't the weak king in their bloodline anymore. She had to prove it to the black bastard, no matter what damages came from it.

With each strike she landed and with every one she received, Baba Yaga pushed her brother down the dune. She had used his bum leg to her advantage, but it was the loss of focus he had just once that allowed her to drive him into the oasis. Now they both stood in the shin deep water with their sides heaving and blood falling from their bodies. Her golden eyes held pain and despair, but behind those two emotions was that rage that simmered now that she had inflicted damage.

Panting, Yaga slowly turned her head when the scent of a fourth captured her attention. One ear was twisted towards Lucifer, but the grey mare watched as a rounded and roaned chestnut mare seemed to appear out of thin air. Her heart began to race in her breast as she opened her jaws, letting out a scream to the sun that was walking their way as the emerald eyed newcomer picked up from a walk into a lunging run with her ears pinned and teeth bared.

Jerking her hooves to face the approaching attacker, Yaga was close to striding forward when a pale mare with a white blanket came from the right, barreling into the white dusted and pregnant chestnut. Shaking her two toned face, Yaga watched as the crippled stallion trotted their way, his blue eye locking onto Lucifer with a snort. It was like the world was crashing into an asteroid. She hadn't ever met these horses, but everyone seemed to be coming together for one thing… and that thing was her brother.
