When her voice filled the air and her hooves stopped, Tefnut was able to softly scan the onyx maiden with her ocean blue eyes. Her gentle gaze was kind, but inside their depths was a harder edge. She wasn't as rough around the edges as her father, but she wasn't weak spirited either. Shoving the turbulent internal ways of her soul away though, Tefnut kept herself steady and mellow as the black mare squared up. Tefnut’s red head softly tilted to the side, not showing an ounce of leeway or unease with the change before her.

Flicking one ear towards the mare she now knew as Rethe, she chuckled lightly. “I was just curious. Your body posture wasn't what I'm used to seeing.” Tefnut was honest as can be with that statement, considering where she lived and who she lived beside. Lucifer never looked like this black mare and neither did his small herd. Tefnut was growing to realize that Lucifer was just a broken man. His inability to process emotion was something she was learning to be his major fault. Unlike him though, she processed hers just fine.

Licking her pale lips, the mare dipped her head. “No worries though. Anything can make someone else look like a threat.” Grinning softly with her eyes dancing, Tefnut cocked a hind leg to be at rest, taking any ounce of probably worry from her posture. She wouldn't attack, that much she hoped showed as her dark rimmed ears stayed perked forward. “It's nice to meet you though, Rethe.” Tefnut’s voice was soft. It matched her posture as she tilted her head the other way, trying to find a question to ask as she did wish to talk, but didn't know how exactly to broach the conversation.
