There was nothing about Dreamer that said threatening so it was easy for him to relax. Rain continues to softly drop against his body as it does the same to hers. It may be dark, but he could still see the outline of her form. He could see the lightness of her coat and the white blanket that stretches on her back. He couldn't help but feel the same flutter in his chest he has felt before in her presence.
Dreamer says that everything was okay and apologizes for coming behind him. Nico smiles with a nod of his head. "It is quite alright." He replies. She must be coming in for the night to sleep near the rest of the herd. She then asks if he was alright. She must be taking quick to tense up as a que something was wrong.
"There is always dangers to the world no matter how peaceful you try to be." He smiles lightly. "The Lagoon tried to take Raini from us, but I stopped them." He sighs. Nico was an honest stallion and could have easily said nothing was wrong and stuck to it. Instead he felt Dreamer deserves to know why he patrols so late.
"I dont want you to worry about anything. I am giving it my all to protect you and everyone else." He didn't wish anyone else to hold this burden. His herd should be relaxed, safe, and happy at all times. Only he should worry about their safety and the outside world. Replies: There have been no replies.
