xhale. Once again, there's nobody here 'enjoying radio'. There's nobody here at ALL even IN radio except maybe Reality, he doesn't actually say.
I dont imagine many other than smaller market (unrated) radio people have the freedom to "enjoy" the creativity of radio. Guys reading liner cards arent in radio, they're just announcers reading the liner cards and computer operators.
If they can't choose the music and be free to entertain, they're not even responsible for the success or failure of ratings in their time slots. Like Morning show people, too popular for program directors to mess with, are the only ones today.
I don't think sales people have any clue of all they know if it is their time in the production studio supervising the production of their own spots. With today's software, a skillful technician (codenamed 'Digital Creator") can do that at home, not even at a studio!) Are you out of the business now like I've been for 25 years or more? I can hear radio and have done enough production to know how to do it even without using the most modern equipment and software in radio stations. I just know the software does most of the tricky stuff, because I have some of that software myself.
I'm not interested in the techniques anymore, just the results on the listeners..and thats only promoting their learning and political judgments choosing leaders.
I dont know what's in your head, mostly alcohol recovery lately, and winning comment room arguements! You dont' ever say and its hard to understand when you spend your days attacking the therapists' credentials. You're just pro bono work for me!
