During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The brute's large paws landed surprisingly softly upon the earth as he made his way toward where he had heard the alphess' cry originate from. His grey towers swiveled as he listened to the brute walking with him talk. Kalgalath's mind relaxed as he heard what the brute had to say about the alphess, and was glad to hear that he believed that she would make a great leader of this pack. As they got nearer to the clearing where the queen waited, his flares picked up a multitude of scents. Out of them, he picked up that of the alpha and her brother. However, there were a multitude of smells which were foreign to him. As his orbs saw the trees thin, they also affirmed that which his olfactory senses had picked up. He saw the two leaders, along with a fae and her pup, another fae and another brute. If the alpha accepted all of them into the pack, it would become a very strong pack if all of them held their own and contributed to the pack.

Kalgalath's eyes fell upon the alphess and knew her strength as soon as he took her in. Her numerous scars lay as proof upon her flesh of her battles and her entire frame looked to be made of muscle. His mind made a note that Kong was a good judge of character. The brute turned to the one he was walking with, one who he had formed a kind of friendship with. It was good to have alliances such as the one that Kalgalath believed was forming between the two of them, even when in a pack. "I believe your words about the alphess stand true. I believe this pack has the potential to become a very strong pack."

Turning back to the group in front of him, as soon as they had gotten close enough to the alphess, he sat his haunches upon the ground and patiently waited to hear her words. In the meantime, he wondered where the father of the pup was, and if the fae was the pup's true mother. Their scents did not smell similar, and the body language of the pup did nothing to prove otherwise as Kalgalath watched the pup clean himself instead of letting the fae clean him.
