At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

OOC- Sorry if it’s all over the place. :D

So this is where fate had led her. It had taken her away from danger and fear and led her to danger and fear. Fate had gone and taken her to a place full of... “Wolves!”

Yoki hated other wolves, especially males. But if you knew her history could you blame her? Her weary pistons trudged forward on the exhausting journey and screamed out in pain as she climbed higher to reach her destination. The place she found herself appeared to be of some sort of staircase moulded with natural waterfalls. At least she would be safe, or so she thought.

-----All in all the female was quite dull. Her short black coat was patched with grey; from where she had been attacked or gripped to hard and they had pulled chunks of fur out. Although the ess supposed she couldn’t grumble. At least it was growing back. Then those eyes. Supposedly it was the eyes that where the door to the soul, but Yoki’s orbs were a dull amber, not very attractive when looking for a mate with gorgeous eyes that you could sit and peer into all day. Two dull amber orbs that had seen years or heartache and trauma.-----

The dull coloured ess had been travelling for so long; running everytime she came within scenting distance of another wolf. She couldn’t help but become skittish and anxious around other wolves and prancing around like a frightened pup was going to attract a lot of unwanted attention, so running was the easier option. It was a long and treacherous journey but one that couldn’t be helped- well she wasn’t going to stay there any longer. Quietly the femme stared at her surroundings, her auds flickering, trying to make out if any other animal or wolf were present, but nothing came to her attention. Timidly she approached a small den; in the middle of a dense bush; and quickly made herself at home in the darkness. Darkness was her only friend. The darkness hid the monstrosity that was her battered and bruised body and could shield her from any devil wanting to use her for pleasure. No longer was she going to accept that because her Father told her she was to pleasure a male she had to do it, No! This was a fresh start, a new beginning and the demons of her past would stay in the past. But she couldn’t get past her fear.

Exhausted and emotional the plain and very boring looking female laid on the cold floor, wrapping her tail around her to try and warm herself. She knew that this new start wasn’t going to be easy. Yoki couldn’t get past the fact that she thought she was a burden to the world; a world that so far had provided her with the pile of shit that was her life. Before long tiredness overwhelmed her and her heavy orbs began to close. Yoki tried desperately to stay awake but she couldn’t fight it any longer and eventually drifted off to sleep.

The lass awoke with a yelp, panting and shaking with fear as her nightmares faded away. Even in her dreams she wasn’t safe the devils could find her wherever she was. Cautiously the ess peered out of her make-shift den, checking for any sign of life before she finally stepped out of the foliage. Yoki headed straight to the river, the nice cold, clear blue river. Her feminine cranium reached down to the water, her pink tongue lapping up the refreshing liquid, eyes constantly watching out for movement. After quenching her thirst the ess lifted her head, and turned ready to head back to her hideout when she came across a figure laid in the grass. The lass froze in fear. She needed to get back to the den and quick. Shuffling quietly back towards the den she made a dive for the entrance, pushing herself to the back awaiting a mysterious creature to appear at the mouth.
