The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Everything happens quickly. One minute i'm staring at the buffet table with silent longing and the next, well, my attention is dragged toward the snow and crimson mistress who was now pinning my sister.Jokes aside, no one hurts my sister except me! Hackles are quick to take stance along my spine while mismtahced stargazers glare in the one I would come to know as Cades direction.Sakari takes it in her stride, naturally, finding this all a game and I knew how awkward Damon must be feeling right now. Holding my somewhat threatening pose longer than I should have, I turn my gaze to my older brother, leader of the family and wisest of the lot of us expecting him to do something. He doesn't, instead he takes the bitches side and I stare in disbelief. Are you fucking kidding me? What happened to blood being thicker than water? Family loyalty? If I was older i'd have him for this.

Before I have chance to comment, intervene or do anything for that matter, Vorkuta comes waltzing in. No doubt everyone would turn up sooner or later having such a keen nose for the family and with this pack being the closest they no doubt caught wind of the foreign strangers and assumed the same as me and Sakari. So perhaps they had been mistaken, so why the fuck had Damon brought us here? Was this some kind of test to help me and Sakari control our thirst? Talk about being thrown in at the deep end!

I take a glance around, snow kissed audettes flicking in every direction to the slightest sound about me, waiting, listening for someone to shine some light on the occasion. I catch a glimpse of the male soldier sat a short distance away. His body is tense, muscles clearly ready should this bitch on my sister need assistance. Wouldn't surprise me if she couldn't handle her own battles. I see something flicker in his eyes.. Understanding perhaps? Did he clue on to what we were? No.. Impossible, surely we could have been joking, afterall. Still, we hold eachothers stare for a brief moment before I turn away, somewhat intimidated by his silent knowledge I was sure had something to do with me.

I glance back to Sakari just about when Damon pipes up, his voice wreaked of authority when he demands I shut up. Ears fall back against my skull and a soft whine threatens to escape my tight lips. He hadn't spoke to me like that before and it stung in the chest like a sharp dagger waiting to be twisted. I do as he says non the less, shifting my gaze to my paws like a good little boy not wanting to anger him anymore than I already had.

It was just a bit of fun..
