Talia shouldn't have been there. She wasn't sure she had the right to love. She had five pups at home waiting for her and her heart still ached bitterly from the loss of her mate. But she was lonely. She longed for someone to love. Her pups needed a father to be proud of them. Her hazel eyes were full of love and sadness when she accidentally walked in to a brute. She immediately stepped back and met his gaze apologetically.
"I'm sorry." She said quickly, her voice warm and sincere.
