The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

A Loner's Soul

Nocturne padded slowly through Blossom Forest, her pads caressing the moist earth as she walked lightly. The fae enjoyed these kinds of things of nature; the peacefulness of it, the magic of things growing, and the colors of life. She breathed in deeply, savoring the fresh air, but instead colors of dark orange coalesced into her mind and the scent of male overpowered her nose. Her nostrils flared as she stopped in her tracks. The scent was fresh- the brute had been here only minutes ago. She began to follow the trail, but then paused, trying to not be too hasty. Ever since she had arrived in Blossom Forest, she had not come across any contact of other wolves yet. Nocturne was a free soul; she was a loner and always traveled, so a pack life did not compliment her. Yet despite her occupation- the fae preferred to be social and friendly to strangers.

She took a deep breath, and continued following the scent trail. The scars that riddled her body proved she knew of the dangers of approaching other wolves- but she couldn’t help it, she was simply friendly in nature. Not once did she ever fight back. She certainly wasn’t a coward, but she had never been a good fighter. She was always thankful that a weak wolf like her had survived this long. The scent trail led to a large cave, and she admired its gaping mouth, beckoning at her dangerously. She smiled slightly, going against her instincts to not go in, “A place I have yet to explore. Let’s see what treasure you may hold…” She padded inside silently, her senses alert to any noise and the scent of the wolf, which was overwhelming now. She didn’t have to go far into the cave to come upon the brute, but already the darkness was overwhelming, and the chill of the cave was setting in.

Nocturne shivered, glad her mottled grey and black pelt gave her some invisibility in the darkness, but she guessed the male already knew she was there. Her soft golden eyes watched him as they adjusted to the lighting, and she nearly sighed out loud when she saw the tense muscles of the brute. She had sure gotten herself in a mess; entering alone and unprotected in a cave with an angry wolf. The outcomes in these situations never turned out well for her. No point in running, she thought dryly, ready to accept the consequences. The fae sat, watching him silently. The best course of action for her was to simply keep quiet.
