Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

these people keep to themselves,

A power change? So fast? Well, that was... short lived to say the least. To think! She had poor little Latika stashed away only to have the reason she was taken from her life as a loner pushed to the side. It was unexpected to say the least but it only further proved to d'Mani that true peace was not something easily, if ever, come by. The howl had been commanding, victorious and as loud as ever but certainly it wasn't Sulan. She actually felt almost obliged to tend to this other call and with a light sigh, she rose out of her concealed den, moss held loosely between her teeth. If she were going to tend to the probably beaten and bruised new King, she might as well make an impression, right? She wasn't the most adept Healer, having only learnt some basics from her Mother but hey, if she could help and earn some kind of merit point for it, why not? d'Mani, the Thieving Healer of Glorall had a certain ring to it that she actually didn't mind.

With a quick shake of her pelt, she was off towards the shoreline - a location she was more than happy to attend. It wasn't even that far from her den and within moments she broke onto the green stretch, her bouncing form moving along at a fast trot. It took even less time to catch the form of the larger, dark male standing and calling once again - ah, Weylin? The former King of Glorall? So, he had decided to rise up despite his little honor pact or whatever it was. It wasn't like she was going to question it, though, for she had little understanding of honor or pack politics. She simply saw a benefit to having a place provide shelter, food and the possibility of learning in exchange for her doing whatever they required. Simple and straight to the point was her methodology.

She trotted to stand before the King, bowing her head low momentarily and dropping the moss at her paws before she rose to meet his gaze levelly. Geez, he had gotten pretty messed up - wonder what Sulan looked like? Probably missing a leg or something at any rate, oh well.

"Moss. Helps stop bleeding and all that. I can help with it if you'd like - maybe find something else for you if you have too much pain."
