Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

So Aerten was back to sarcasm. Surprise, surprise. It seemed that every once in a while the Abendrot warrior just had to snap Dib back into attention, she had to let her know who had all the power. But the thing was Dib never forgot. She treated the girl with as much respect as she deserved and to keep reminding her would not build that respect. ”I didn’t say that you had dropped your guard. I was simply saying that I wouldn’t drop mine just yet either.” Her words were calm and truthful. In fact at that moment she sounded remarkably like her mother. Cai always had a way with words that Dib had never understood. Well not until now that was.

Dib’s eyes stuck on the other femme as she seemed to go into a sort of panic at the word family. Was her experience with family really that bad? Although her father and some siblings had gone missing rather early in her life, Dib had always considered herself to have a good childhood. She couldn’t even begin to imagine a life without her mother and sister and had to admit, she felt sorry for those who didn’t have a life like hers. Her auds flickered as just one simple word entered the air. A word that sent chills down her spine ’Dead.’ Obviously this subject was not a favoured one and the teen had struck a nerve deep within the older russet femme’s bodice. Oh dear!

Dib kept her emerald eyes on Aerten, not saying another word until she thought that the other ess’ temper had died down a lot. She wasn’t frightened of the older ess one bit, she was simply nervous. Nervous at the fact that a potentially dangerous wolf had just been aggravated enough to lose it and maybe cause some damage. ’So, Dib, since you brought it up...What about you? Family in Saw Tooth? You must have leant your more...interesting tendencies somewhere.’ The words were harsh and quite rude but Dib let it slide. She had most likely deserved that outburst however her question had been an innocent one. One that was brought up in most civilised conversations, obviously not the right topic for this one. ”Yes, as a matter of fact I do. I do have family in Saw Tooth, but my tendencies are my own. No one in my family is like me. It’s nice you find me to be interesting.” Of course Dib knew that the words were meant in a harsh way, but that was one of her qualities. She took everything with a pinch of salt.

Her orbs followed the lass as she glanced down at the floor and back up again, her stargazers filled with a new fire. A rage of some form and Dib sighed inwardly. It looked like the conversation was about to take a new turn. A somewhat more fiery turn and the teen didn’t know whether it was a good, or bad thing. Either way she would keep her mouth shut for now.
