Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Waiting... For an awfully big adventure.

The topic had flicked rather quickly off exploring and onto hunting. With Aerten not saying much more on the adventure topic, there was not much more that could be done. Hopefully hunting would provide more stimulation for the two; though with Dib not being able to hunt in the first place she was doubtful. ’You? Well...I like it, but I'm not exactly an expert... Practice on smaller prey, first. Squirrels, rabbits, etc. Don't try anything if you're not confident about it, but it usually comes pretty naturally.’ Although the older ess had provided some rather good tips, it hadn’t done much to spark up some interest and she had simply shrugged it off. Her words, however simple and short, did make perfect sense and the teen lapped them up like ice cold water on a savagely hot day. Dib said nothing. Instead a rather excitable smile appeared on her kissers as she nodded her head in acknowledgement. ”Thank you.”

As the next question revealed itself, Dib noted how the femme stiffened. The russet girl held her breath, wondering what side of Aerten would reveal itself to her, only releasing when calm words fluttered across the breeze. ’It's good, though I imagine very different from yours. We're an army, but there is a certain level of...care there.’ What little the ess did reveal, opened a whole new window for Dib. She had expected it to be a whole lot more evil than Aerten had suggested. Hmm, maybe they really weren’t all too bad, though the teen would probably not venture to close to the borders. Yes Aerten was nice-ish but she couldn’t trust her pack mates.

Her auds flickered as another question was released; only this time it was aimed at Dib. It seemed that Aerten wanted to know a little more about Saw Tooth. The teen was happier this time to give away information however it would only be as much as the other had revealed. ”Like I said before, we are like one big family in more ways than one. We all look out for each other and wouldn’t think twice about protecting our loved ones. I guess in some ways we are like an army, just not as forceful as yours.” It was true. Abendrot was known for getting their own way, if not by force then by brains and brawn. But Dib was certain of one fact... No wolf in Saw Tooth would rest until every member of the pack was safe. They would and could fight to protect their family and would put up just as good a fight as any member of Abendrot.

It was nice on Misty Mountain. Granted it was a pain to get too, especially if you had a disabled limb but it was beautiful all the same. Much like the relationship that had unfolded between the two russet femme’s. It had taken a while to get to this stage but at least they could actually tolerate each other now and some boundaries had been set. It was a strange but remarkable bond, and one that neither of them would forget in a hurry. What a sight it must have been to see an adventurous happy-go-lucky teen exchanging calm words with a powerful and mysterious spy.

”So what shall we do now? Any suggestions on conversation topics or anything else we can do?” For once in her life Dib was stuck for what to say. She would usually enjoy asking many questions, sometimes too many for her own good, though with his wolfess it was hard. Although she wasn’t particularly frightened of Aerten she didn’t want to risk hitting a nerve and striking up the rage that she knew was present deep within the older femme.
