Her words drew a territorial growl from his throat, as he glared into her horror stricken eyes. They were a mirror to his own, when he'd first come here, broken and alone. He knew a face like that anywhere, that was someone so desperate for love and happiness that they could even turn to the... Unsavory sorts and deal for Eccoian Flowers.

"I'd assume you've heard about me and the others of the gang and our... Dealings. I know these caves better than anyone. Let me hide you, and they'll never find you. Besides, I have something for you..."

He certainly wasn't the comforting type, and blossom or two for both of them would certainly help their moods, but wouldn't affect their health at all. Damn, was that entirely what his mind revolved around?

He then turned, and with a gentle nod towards the darkness before him, leading her through the last little tunnel before the more open cavern along the outside of the caves.
