Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Summer decided to head out of the territory of his seemingly empty pack. He had not been a member of Bright Moon long and it did not yet feel like home. He had no idea who was leading there pack, Tamlin he knew was dead, but that’s about all he knew. The brute had barely even been accepted to the pack by a rushed Ambrosia. He had only encountered a few other wolves, but no one he could call a friend. He was sad and lonely. The smoky brute missed his family, his siblings most of all. He had grown up with five siblings, yet knew where none of them were. He had no one he could go to with his sadness, no one he could talk to. He sighed as he stood up from the spot he had been resting in under a tree in the shade.

The brute stuck to the shadows for once, he usually was a happy lupine, but he hadn’t been happy since he lost his family. What was there to be happy about when he was utterly alone in the world? His older siblings had left when he was just a pup and his younger brother had been separated from him. He had never felt so alone in his life. His feet padded heavily through the trees, making no effort to hide the noise of his paws landing on the fallen leaves. A cold breeze ruffled his thick pelt and he lifted his head, inhaling the scents of the forest. As he inhaled a sweet perfume reached his nares. Another lupine was around, a femme. Maybe he could make a friend. The brute decided to follow the scent and see where it led him.

The smoky gray brute made his way through Blossom Field, ears and yellow orbs alert to the presence of other wolves. It was not long before he saw the ess that he had scented. A pretty cream colored femme was sitting under a tree, watching the colored leaves fall from above. He smiled, the scene was truly beautiful.

Summer approached her slowly, letting his scent reach her so he would not startle her. He sat a few paces away from her, relaxed, thick plume wrapping around his large paws. “Hello, do you mind if I sit by you? My name is Summer by the way.” His eyes searched her bright green ones, hoping to see friendliness and not hostility there. A shy smile came upon his kissers, letting her know he was no threat here.
