Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

Alone. It was something she was used to being. It was rare for her to be around others her kind. Every time she came across another loner in the past it was always dangerous. From what she could take from past experiences, when two loners meant it was always a fight over something. Sometimes one lupine would look at the other in a judging manner that would cause the other to want the throat out of the other. When food was plentiful or scarce, it was typical for loners to attack one another over food. Which is why once you had food you had to go somewhere safe enough for you to eat your meal in peace. It was natural for loners to fight one another over anything and everything it was a way to give themselves a sense of purpose. She had survived her own scuffles here and there, but she wasn’t one to brag about such things. That is why she bears her scars and faded wounds proudly, never one to shy away from a direct challenge if only so she could receive another badge of valor.

While enjoying her serene nightly walk, alone, she could sense a disturbance around her. Her ebony furred agile form would halt as her half torn ear would twitch to and fro atop her smartly shaped head. She could hear the sound of almost silent paws stepping along the terra firma, and by the sounds of it, this particular fellow was nearby. Raising her head she would inhaled softly tasting the scent of a male nearby. Instantly her hackles rose and that soft obsidian fur littered with light gray markings would rise and thicken making her feminine muscular appearance seem bulkier than usual. Her dial would swing around in the direction of the cocky ebony painted male. Dark blue eyes, with amethyst specks in them, would narrow as a low snarl rumbled at the back of her throat. Silver rays from the moon above would only enhance those jagged claw marks that tore through her face over her eye, giving it an eerie silver look to them. Cold eyes narrowed when she saw that sly foxlike grin and immediately her ebony tail behind her flicked sharply to the side in subtle annoyance. Cold drawl would slip out darkly from those glistening sharp teeth that she just happened to show him as she spoke.

“It was.”

Dear boy, this is not the female to try to be wily with. She was by no means interested with such careless interactions. For surely flirtation can lead to disastrous consequences. Indeed she was not a social creature, even though her instincts screamed that she should be. Tonight he was out of luck for a cuddle buddy. Now if he wanted a nibbling buddy, if he got his kicks on with a biter, then surely he was with the right company tonight. After all with those razor sharp teeth and wicked mind, she could be quite the nibbler…he could do with a shredded face to complement is charismatic charm. Good girls love the looks of a bad boy, right? The Monster noticed how he was eyeing her and she was swift to put a stop to his…invading ways. So, without another glance she stepped forward resuming her regular gentle pace, well aware that he was going to follow her and perhaps be at her side, for how could he resist a challenge?

“Keep those wandering eyes….off me.”
