Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

The black femme never thought she would be in this place again, never thought that it could hurt this much a second time. But it did hurt, badly. Everything hurt, her chest, her body, her head, her heart. This time she didn’t even make it back to her den. The black fae just lay curled up in a pile of leaves and branches, not caring about the thorns that pricked at her skin, not caring about anything. Tears didn’t even come this time. Last time he had left all Chenzii had done for days was cried. Cried tears of sadness and grief, cried tears of pain and emptiness, cried tears of heartache. But this time it seemed more final, like he really never would come back.

The femme couldn’t stop her mind from wandering back to him and the plans that she had wanted for them. She wanted pups with him, wanted to grow old with him, wanted to die with him. But now that would never happen. Chenzii vowed never to let herself love again, to never rely on someone like she had on the one that had left her. And this made her sadness grow even more. She would never have pups of her own. Never have little ones to take care of and look after, never have anyone else to love again.

Death seemed like the best option now. Was there really anything left for her? She really thought about it, letting herself just die in these leaves. But there was something, and she didn’t know what that something was, that made her stand up and begin to limp out of her home territory. Her usually sleek and shiny black pelt was thinning and matted, her bright yellow orbs were a dull and defeated color, her strong muscles were deteriorating, not used in weeks. She limped slowly through the trees, her body weak and barely able to move. She had no idea where her stilts were carrying her, but she did not care. She had no purpose in life now, nothing driving her will to live, so she just stumbled along as if blind.

The skinny black femme stumbled throughout Blossom until a new scent reached her nares. The sweet scent of fresh flowers reached her, and she finally looked up to see where she had ended up. She recognized Blossom Field. She was in the part that still had life to it, while the other half still remained dead. She sighed heavily, breathing in the sweet scent of the flowers, wishing that the sweet scent could bring her some joy like it should. The femme’s weak limbs seemed to want to go no further, and she lay down in the grass, curling her legs in close and resting her head upon her paws, closing her yellow orbs tight as if that could stop the sadness from reaching her again.
