Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

twelve - no heart - Heyel's soul - Spirane

this is her in blackouts

It seemed as if Jago was gathering quite a group together in a short time. Springtime must be crawling in the bones of all since there were such a variety of wolves out today and all seemed drawn by the braying of the elks. It made Natu antsy to be around so many unfamiliars - then again, she didn't know many so almost everyone was unfamiliar. So many males had flooded to the spot. No doubt their testosterone was beginning to flare and they wished to show their prowess. But it is the stench of Iromar that catches her attention more so than the influx of males. It makes her nose twitch, her heart pound, and her fangs clench. It is not exactly fear that grips her but a fierce anger. The need to drive these crazy creatures back to the marshes they have come from for obviously the stories were true about the demon creatures. They held no souls and thirsted for the blood of their own ilk. It was disgusting. It was the cause of her affliction. Why couldn't she have killed some Iromar wolf rather than some harmless pup?

She can feel the world begin to spin in haze around her. It has become of the sure signs of an impending blackout and she embraces it this time. Perhaps she will not make it through what her instincts drive her to do. There are so many wolves, they will not doubt protect some misbegotten spawn as her fangs try to seek justice among their pelts. And it is as she closes her eyes that another scent invades. It is deep, masculine. Potent. Somehow, inexplicably, her dizziness begins to fade and her sense begin to sharpen. Her body is drawn towards this creature but Natu remains still and apart from the crowd.

She opens her pale blue orbs to glance towards the source of such emotion. He is clearly older than all here but holds himself regal and somewhat... cocky. As if he has much to be proud of and the rest of them were not worthy of such attentions. It is such a strange rush of feelings that consumes her for as she looks upon him her mind whispers safety. Her body betrays her with a quiver and she feels as if she is young once more. This was not quite the feeling she had once held for her past mate. This felt more primal and resolute.

Before she can act like a complete buffoon another snowy figure interrupts her musings. Ailith drags a lush calf towards her and stands like the guardian she is. Natu cannot help but to smile at the female. She is a deadly wolf and yet has become one of the closest of friends with Natu. Natu half suspected that Ailith watched over her during her blackouts. She must have simply missed the most important one. "Ah an offer such as that cannot be passed up, my dear friend. I thank you for your generosity." She had yet to speak of her surrogate child to Ailith although if the female was as observant as Natu suspected then she would already know something was amiss. She was simply too kind to say anything.

Before tugging at a tender hind leg she glances once more at Heyel and the group of wolves that seem to surround him. Even from here she can scent the female that clings to his pelt and her heart drops. Imprints. The idea was thrown around so much in these lands that she hadn't quite understood - she had only seen how it had changed Warlow so drastically. But this male, her imprint, he is mated and no doubt happily so. So she resolves to give him one last look before turning to her meal; no, she will not go to him. So much has already been rendered torn by her interference - she will not cause any more problems where they can be avoided.
