aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Oooooh! This could be fun!!! Sorry if it doesn't make sense, i'm sooooo rusty! oh and the whole cleaning part, if you don't want that to happen, you can just say she moved away or something ^^ i know it's kinda power playing a little so you can have the choice to let it happen or not!

He followed the familiar path. Bittersweet memories clouded his mind; no matter where he went, he knew he belonged to Aurora. Always. He had been back, calling out to Zig as soon as he had returned; but she never showed. It truly dug into his heart and tore at it. His beautiful eyes shone with disappointment but regardless, he was returning to the land he loved. To think that after he had left the lands, the pack was handed down to him. He was the heir of those lands; but of course, he had left. Small conflicts had arisen with the past alpha and so he had no longer felt comfortable in those lands. Some time had passed and now he had returned. Of course, since his department away from the pack, it had had two rulers. Still, as the alpha or as an omega, he would care for the land and those within it just as he always had. His white, soft body moves until he is just outside the pack limits... he was close. Yet, the smell of a teen turns his attention.

He strays from his path only a little, being careful to not make his presence known. Just as he pushes past a bush, he spots the teen going in for an attack; a stag. His azure gaze widens and ears alert up; concern fills his eyes. She carries the smell of Aurora, so she must be a member. Besides that, she was about to be in some big trouble. Cody is rather far from where he watches. The girl shouldn't have tried to take it down on her own. A stag as healthy and young as that is a dangerous enemy, even to two wolves. He begins to dart along the shadows to remain masked in the background. He tries to reach them but it's too late, the stag attacks. Surprisingly, the stag turns away and heads towards a near brush to where Cody is located. His masculine body moves towards it, as he watches the female from the corner of his eyes to make sure she gets away; if angered, the stag could attack again. To spook it, Cody growls and barks in its direction. Surely if he knows there's two wolves now he wouldn't dare attack again. Cody's usually handsome appearance turns odd; it's not that he looked terrifying, but menacing. Ears painted onto his skull, his stance lowers into n attack position, fangs and teeth come out as the deep grumble vibrates and travels up his throat, releasing a warning bark.

Just as he had thought, the stag runs away further; it can't take two wolves. Cody closes his eyes, his ears relax back to normal, body rises to his tall stature, and once his eyes open, the gentle Cody is back to his normal self. He was not one to fight; only to defend what his heart called his own. That female, being a part of his loved land, was reason enough for himself to use it. He looks back, and surely enough she had made her way back into the parklands. She was plenty ahead. Cody had done his best to mask his presence but he was unsure if she had heard his bark towards the stag. He sighs. His body turns back towards the direction of the parklands. Black leg first, he begins to walk over to the pack's borders. The breeze runs through his clean pelt, fluffing his softness further. He knew he would find the female ahead, he could smell her. Again, he walks along the shadows. Zig was still alpha, so surely she would be welcoming... wherever she was right now...

He finally nears the female. He hides for a moment, watching her lay in pain. He is hesitant... not sure how the young female would react to a stranger. She hadn't been around in the days in which Cody roamed around the pack lands. The female was against a tree, her wound exposed to the air. That wound definitely needed taking care of, from he sight of it. Cody's stance is filled with his integrity, but his shyness flies over him. He will always be shy at heart, no matter how much it doesn't seem so on the outside. He pulled the confidence act off pretty well. He walks over to the female. Pretty young gray girl, he thinks. Really should be more careful. His eyes dart directly to her gaze before turning to her wound. As he's next to her, he's cautious as to not spook her. His azure eyes are, gentle, reassuring to her. His eyes shine with a blue-cyan so deep, one could easily get lost within it. "Don't worry... relax." are the only words that escape Cody's mouth, his warm tenor vocals softly escaping his mouth.

His eyes scan the wound and gently, his warm clean tongue runs through the wound, cleansing the blood. The taste is one that Cody never liked- iron, with a sour-tang taste to it. His tongue also picks up on other things such as dirt. Still, his tongue rolls gently, softly on the female's soft skin. Soon enough, he's done cleaning. Surely, she would have had trouble cleaning that wound on her own. He licks his lips and mouth to quickly cleanse himself of any of her blood that might have lingered. Still, a red tint lingered under his chin from her wound. His clean, bright body sits in front of her, his cool gentle eyes follow the gray wolf's face. She was young, of course she was allowed to make mistakes as those... learn by doing, right? Cody had once, not too long ago, been just like her. "You shouldn't try to take anything that young and strong on by yourself..." he explains gently, to not make her feel any worse than she might be feeling. He's a bit alarmed; hopefully no pack members that did not know him would come and be alarmed at the sight of a fellow pack member hurt and her blood on his chin.

He soon realizes he completely forgot to introduce himself. That wasn't very much like Cody. His face and eyes are filled with an incredible, comfortable warmth. Cody had always possesed those traits. He was friendly, warm, secure. "I'm Cody." he says simply; warm, tenor lyrics escaping his breath gently. He dares not ask her name, rather expects her to feel comfortable enough to respond however she sees fit.
