Friends. Slowly but surely I felt as I f I was making a few friends at least, and I only hoped that sooner or later I would make a few more. I wandered away from home, the snow was so inviting I just couldn’t sit still. I found myself wandering with no real intention on to where I was going. I just wanted to explore it all with the snow covering everything. It was keeping me pretty occupied as I walked, not paying attention to where I was going as I wandered. The trees that were covered in snow, their branches bare except for the small weight of snow that clung to them. The birds were still out, chirping and cawing, drawing my eyes upwards to look at them, a soft smile on my face as I did so.

I wondered where mom and dad were today, if they were happy, If they were okay. It made me sad not knowing if my parents were alive or dead after so long, and that really sucked. I kept going, my nose to the snow as I moved. I came to a stop a mere foot from another wolf, tossing a bit of snow up around me as I stopped. I looked around, trying to figure out why there were so many wolves staring at the river. But there were too many for me to see through right now.
