Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Winters had gotten worse where he had been before this, and the trauma of his past had been pushed aside in hopes to reconnect with any family he might still have. It kept him going, moving in this direction. Harsh Winters only made him think that he could finally attempt to put some trust into the idea of pack life. He could hope for that, at least. He had already found his brother, Tristan, and knew that Viora was still around. It made him feel warmer just thinking that he could be near them again. Though of course he wonders where mother is, wonders how she had seen the last day he'd been around. Not allowed into the pack because he hadn't been known by the male who had taken over.

Solitaire had fought so hard to leave the clutches of the vagabonds, and only to be greeted with lack of acceptance back home. That had stung, and with all the other terrible things stacked up, Solitaire had decided to go and nurse his wounds for awhile. Think of how to deal with his failures as a yearling and wonder how to get back from it. For so long he wouldn't trust anyone else to come close to him. He traveled alone because he didn't want them near. Finally he had come to the realization that none of it had really been his fault. He might still feel guilt for it, but it was survival. It was how fate had dealt the cards and there hadn't been a thing Solitaire could do about that. He could only just be stronger now.

That was how he had made up his mind. The thoughts that had gone through his mind as he wandered back here, and he fully intended to stay. He still had yet to speak up to whomever was alpha of Glorall, but that was where he'd been born, where Tristan lived, so why not return there? Nothing more to the idea, really. Solitaire pondered all of this as he moved along, listening to the wildlife around him and pacing near the water. Not too close, but enough to peer at the passing ducks that dotted the surface of it. The sound of another gains his attention, and he howls lightly back in a smooth, lingering wave of sound as he ventures closer to whomever was there.
