Her call fades into the early morning skies and she takes a moment to collect herself. Dealing with others was not her strong suit, but she prided herself in her skills as a huntress and she would prove herself to Coza no matter what. She hears movements of approach, her golden and ice blue eyes sweeping the surrounding brush for the form of whoever it was. She spies a dark tinged wolf moving silently, and for a moment her heart leaps at the idea that it is Zaphkiel, the mysteriously optimistic and persistent star-touched wolf who seemed to always find her. He emerges, still silent, and she notices the brown in his coat that marked him as the wolf she had spoken with not long ago in the heart of Taviora. She gives him a nod of her large head, and the shadow of a smile on her black lips in acknowledgement that he had come.

Soon he is joined by another dark wolf, smaller but who moved so silently she almost didn’t see him approach. She raised an eyebrow in appreciation as he too settled in quietly. Perhaps their odds would be good today after all. She honestly hadn’t held much hope that the hunt would be successful, a veritable longshot; her focus was going to be more on form and tactics over actual results, but if they could actually take something down today they would all be the better for it. She was about to begin when one final wolf joined them. This one she did not recognize, his scent not being one of Taviora but rather a touch of all of the free lands. A loner then. She had not expected a wolf not of their own pack to join them, but as he settled in before them she figured one more set of teeth could not hurt their efforts. His voice rang quietly across the small space and she nodded her affirmation of his wishes, unnecessary speaking would not help them.

She motioned quietly to the two other wolves to move closer as she rose herself. Only once they were all huddled close did she speak her voice barely above a whisper of wind between the trees but slow and steady. “You came here to learn, so follow my instructions, trust your instincts and perhaps we can all leave here with a little something extra in our stomachs.” Her voice is deep for her sex, a low rumble as makes sure to keep her tone low as possible. “You have all seen the deer behind us, they still slumber for the most part with the males distracted by the rut. Knowing your target and their habits is the cornerstone of hunting.” Her gaze flicks to Jinan, aware of his deafness, but trusting that he will either be able to read her lips or follow her body language as would the rest of them. “You pick our target, you will move first and we will follow. Choose wisely.”

Finally she nods, moving back and motioning for them to spread out. Her large form moves silently through the brush low to the ground, choosing her steps wisely until she reaches the edge of the clearing. Her two-toned gaze tracks the movements of the other three, watching how they move so she can give them pointers after if it is necessary. She settles in, letting the muscles tense slowly within her frame, feeling the coiling and adrenaline that built up. Like a spring ready to be released she waits, watching for the darting black and brown form of Jinan to initiate the start of their hunt.
