Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He tries, at least. Not everything would work out the way he wanted it to, but at least he was here and hopefully he wouldn't be thrown out anytime soon. He was trying to make himself useful, trying to find his place here. It's what he had wanted for so very long, and now he was here with Tristan and it made things easier. To know that someone still cared if he was around, if he was alive. He hadn't been sure if anyone had really remembered him, honestly. It had been a very lonely feeling.

But now he did not have to be alone anymore. Even with injuries he wouldn't be kept down, because he wouldn't let that lesson his worth here. He would be stronger than that, push through whatever life sent his way. Though he was concerned about Tristan's wound, that was for sure. There seemed to be a lot of blood on Tristan's flank, and Solitaire worried that it would weaken his brother if not looked at soon. The Winter was not a good time to be weak.

At least he's assured that Tristan will find a healer for it, and that soothes his frayed nerves for the moment on the matter. He notes the way that Tristan finally looks at the wound and the cringing, but he holds his tongue, perfectly fine to ditch the seal pup for Tristan's health. That was what mattered most to him. Solitaire could find them food later if someone poached the seal pup before they returned to it. He simply wanted to do what was best for his brother.

Yet Tristan said he could eat, and Solitaire gives a small smile and a nod of his head. "If you're sure.." Still hesitant, still a little worried, but when Tristan starts the little feast and invites him over, Solitaire jumps right in with a wave of his tail, going to tear into the side while Tristan takes the stomach area. The fat was hard to get through, but when he gained real meat he ripped at it, gulping down what he could. Of course when Tristan spoke, Solitaire paused and lifted his head, looking over at his brother. Something about mom? He blinked, waiting.
