Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

now that i am coming down; won't you be my solid ground?

Sway wanted to show that despite her disablity, she could still be a hard working and valued member of a pack. That was why she was trying for a rank, why she was ready to begin the tasks. Plus, it would get her to different places, out there and meeting with allies and other packs. That sounded like a lot of fun, and of much interest. Why wouldn't she want to do those things, even without a task to urge her on? Of course a task gave her a reason to go to these places and see who might be there to speak with. She still had to debate the idea of what kind of ally things to talk about, but for now it was the first task to go with; meeting someone from the new leadership packs.

Sway didn't really know any of them to be honest, but she had names and general directions and she would have an unbiased opinion all around on the matter. That could be good, right? To have a fresh look at everything, not having any opinions based on the past. It might prove helpful for her cousin, and Sway did want to show Daenerys how much she appriciated the chance to live in Spirane and be close to those that she shared blood with. Family made her happy, and she wanted to make up for any possible troubles she might cause due to the laspses in memory she knew she would eventually have. Being a working member within the pack would do that. She hoped.

So with all this in mind and a good feeling in her chest, Sway aimed her steps towards Glorall. She was hopeful to learn more about the place and how it was from a member there, to see if it would make a good ally to Spirane as she had been told Glorall was in the past. So long as she could keep her head in check through all of this, things should go just fine. Her demeanor was friendly and upbeat, and when she noted the borderline up ahead, she stopped short of it and looked around, sniffing at the salty air. It was interesting here, at least through the ocean's proximity. She called out a greeting, hoping to snare the attention of one of the Glorall members to come and speak with her.
