Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I believe Eden is a fair leader and as such, I don't think he'll hold it against anyone for showing up after the change in leadership versus those that were here before. I think he's looking for wolves that make the pack thrive, not just wolves that are loyal to the land. I hear that he went to help out Frostbite with healing and now he keeps checking on me. I feel special. When I tell him pulling the log will help build muscle, he says that it should help him fight and I smirk. "I don't know, you looked okay in the hunt to me." When I ask to borrow it, he jokes about me pulling it around while he collects plants. I laugh and nod. "I think I can do that. Then I'll look like the macho man working out while you just look like the guy who likes flowers." I smirk, my eyes bright with humor. It feels good to be able to joke with someone, especially family.

When I ask about the taste of the herbs, he tells me bitter and I wrinkle my nose. "Now I just feel bad for you." I joke lightly. He does seem happy about fishing though. I smirk when he says that they don't do damage back. "At least not the fish I target. I like safe prey." I say as I turn to head toward the shore. I go into the shallow water, liking the feel of it as it hits my skin. The water's cold but at least it's clean. I search the waters, looking for some hint. I glance up at Solitaire, whispering. "See anything yet?"
