Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I knew this day would come and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't dreading it this whole time. Tesseract was a little intimidating if only because he was an adult and an alpha and I was just a pup but he took me under his wing and let me go on visits to other packs and I soon looked up to him as a mentor. I took that away from myself when I left Moladian and now I have a new alpha. Eden has been a good ruler though and he has done a lot for Glorall. I'm sure I have a lot to learn from him as well. But he intimidates the hell out of me. Maybe it's just his straight forward demeanor, how he's always straight to the point and doesn't show a lot of emotion on his face. Either way, I've been putting off this talk for a long time but I think it's about time I've really done something for this pack. I've just been pretty much using my time to get to know my brother better.

I did help on the pack hunt and I guess that counts for something but it's not enough. I need to make myself clear for once. And so here I am standing outside his den, shifting from paw to paw as I try to work out exactly how I want to say what I've got to say. I've even been practicing in my head and in front of the stream, looking into the water to help me visualize what I'm going to look like saying it. "Hey, Eden, how's it going?...no, that won't work. Hey Eden, what's up home dog? No, that's not right either." I scowl and pin my ears back, sighing as I look down at my paws. "Eden, I want to be your Arbitrator. Well, some day, that is. Not today of course, cause you can't just hand it over without me actually earning it. I get that. I'll do something to deserve it. Got a task for me? Maybe that's too straight forward...." I scrunch up my face, waiting for inspiration to hit me.
