He couldn't pay attention to Paldor when something else was nagging at the back of his mind, telling him that something was up, was different.. maybe even wrong. It did not feel auspicious to him at all, but something else entirely. Something that he wasn't ready for just yet. Of course it was obvious on what it was by all the stories he had heard, but he hadn't really believed in any of it. There was no real proof that he had been able to find, other than what others spoke of it, that they all had seemed brainwashed about it.. except now he knew the truth.
That did not mean he had to like it, but that he should accept it and move on with his life. Riot was tired from all the stress he had already endured, and he did not want to keep up with it all. He wanted to forget all the problems surrounding his own bloodline, but it was a big issue in some instances. Like with Paldor, maybe with being trusted at all. Riot had never done anything that could be seen as untrustworthy though, since he had told Aithne everything he knew right after he knew it. She was the first to know after he had found out.. and he still had to say it in other places..
The news was bound to spread, and now he had to deal with an imprint thing on top of it? But there was no huge change within him over this, only that feeling of being linked, of.. something he couldn't understand or place. An interest without interest, and he was drawn to her for now. Maybe by his own curiousity if only to learn her name, but that was enough to have him moving away from Paldor and towards her, this female that seemed to fill his mind and yet.. Riot wasn't sure this was what he had been told an imprint was. Something just seemed a little off about it..
