Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Youth and innocence went hand in hand when it met in the heart of Taika. Still not considered ‘mature’ by years, the coming of age pixi doubted she would ever truly give up her desire and love for play. There were some things in the world she thought were too important to lose sight of. The wolf in front of her was an adult, she could not help but notice though. It was the rouge’s grin that excited her. Him puffing into a porcupine excited her even more. Him playing with her brought her more joy than he could ever know. Growing up and facing reality, she understood it would happen, but Edrick wordlessly proved to her that is was a choice. A choice she could and would make with every passing day. In her mind; the difference between wisdom and foolishness, is knowing when to be which.

She fed off his excitement, welcoming it and having it fuel her own. The playful fan of her tail was nearly audible with the speed that is wagged. He lunged for the the other side of the stick and the young girl’s heart soared. Her laughed continued to bubble from her, muffled by the wood of the stick. She could feel that he was not using his full force, which she appreciated, knowing if he used his full force he could take her for a ride. That being true, she grinned mischievously as she dug her fangs deeper into the bark. Her growl was a twin to her laugh, rolling like a creek from around the piece of tree. The growl was the warning she gave him to brace himself before whipping her head back and forth. In her mouth the branch snapped, stabbing her in the gums.

Jumping back she whimpered a moment, spitting out the splinters. Unphased, she jumped back into their play, tail in the air and her eyes looking up at him from the ground between her paws. ”Well Faerie King, what if I were to try to take them from you?” She challenged with her tongue lolling out of her mouth. ”What if I wanted to be the Faerie Queen?” Snorting, she jumped back and forth, woofing at him, daring him to take her up on her challenge.
