Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

~I hope you smile when you look down on me~

The ashen girl’s breaths were shallow and quick, but not too labored. She took the care of settling to ground with a gentle thump, she yipped quietly. Her ribs were still sensitive to the slightest touches and bumps, as really was her whole body. But everything was amplified after her little journey up the mountain side, but even for all the small pains the ashy fea was more ensnared by the beauty of the land revealed below her. The pines rose strong and tall, the lake glittered in the near distance and the woods of Aurora visibly shifting in the winds below her, similar to one gusting over the cliffs edge. Her cranium was settled down on her paws, her tail gliding gently above the rocky surface. Small pebbles clattered with each sweeping motion making her deaf to her surroundings. Sebring felt a familiar elation rising in her chest. This was almost comparable to the sight of her mottled knight. The conjured image of her lover hovered in her mind’s eye as she rested her lids momentarily.

The small pieces of rubble continued to make noise as her tail swept back and forth. In combination the wind whistling in her ears and the rustling of trees and shrubbery Sebring did not hear the approach of her visitor. Please don’t leave me… Golden pools flashed open, her paws scrabbling to turn on the soft surface. She wanted to see the face that belonged to the plea. She turned lopsidedly her balance fairly off but she managed with great effort to find herself buried in her mottled knight’s fur. A bark of joy escaped her maw as she pressed her face into his shoulder. Kalgalath, my darling Kalgalath! Her voice filled with elation and laced with love. She nuzzled her face against his, every part of her being meshed against his. Kalgalath’s scent enveloping her once again as she took in a deep breath, as she tried recovering herself. Sebring began trying to explain herself, she didn’t want her knight to think she had left him, I’ve missed you so dearly Kalgalath… I worried you wouldn’t return, so I tried to find you and well… I don’t know, I just couldn’t… I’m not a very good tracker… I just kind of wandered around the territory… I wanted to see you but I thought you were busy so I never called… I’m sorry… She pulled her face just far enough away to look into Kal’s icy oceans, hoping her wouldn’t be upset.

Sebring looked at Kalgalath waiting for his response. Her brow creased with worry and her eyes held a shadow of sadness. Her crown reached towards her King’s and gently caressed him. Her tongue encircled the base of his ear trying to comfort him; she planted a kiss on his brow like she had not so long ago in his den. The fish lay between their paws and its scent wafted into her sensory organs, triggering a rumble in her abdomen, but she ignore the churning muscles. She was too caught up in her lover’s icy pools and the electric sparks igniting her nerves at every touch.

"They’re only baby scars," She whispers.
