Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Having only every interacted with her siblings, the pup had no idea if what Thor was telling her were true. The things he was asking about seemed harmless enough. It was information she would not care if she gave to anyone. It was other things she did not want to share. Like, where she had been the night before, or where she got her new shiny rock. Or why the den smelled exceptionally bad that one night when she came home. Ears forward and face excited, she answered his questions almost instantly, eager to prove that she trusted him with this useless information.

“I like to find things and dig them up! Chase and bite. Yes!” She hesitated a minute, thinking about her siblings. It had been a little while since she had been back, and she wanted to talk to Sif about her adventures. Her mother had gotten a little accustomed to Inanna’s tendency to roam, but the pup always made sure to come back in a timely manner. If Hecate or Dieloch thought their child were in true danger, the pup did not want to think about what would reign down on the world. Or the talking to they would give her. Shoving these thoughts aside she continued to be forthcoming with the requested ‘trust building’ information. “I have three siblings! Sif, Kynigi, and Cenmatl.” Her voice was filled with obvious affection for her family

Laughter escaped her when he tried to pronounce her name. “In-na-na.” Her head was held proudly. “I am named after a goddess!” The obvious pleasure in her name faltered in surprise at his innocent charm. She had never been flirted with, nor her face complimented. Confused, she felt heat rise under her skin and her stomach do a weird twist inside her. Not the same kind of twist that happened when she ate something weird, far more pleasant, but still twisty all the same.

“Uh…” Violet and blue eyes looked around, pulling herself together to remember where she was. Trees surrounded their boarder to the west, and often held more interesting things than the beaches. However the beaches had crabs to pounce and challenge! “The beach!” She finally decided, jumping to her feet. “We can hunt crabs!” There was also the added bonus of passing just by her home den, her scent letting her parents know she was still around.
