Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

I watch his silliness with a little tickle in my toes that says I could probably join him, probably wanted to join him. I even mention it, hoping to spur conversation in that direction - simply because it looked like a good deal of fun. At least fun, though I couldn’t begin to understand the spiritual aspect of what he spoke about. (She was a simpler sort of wolf, unburdened by such big pictures as a living nature.)

He circles me, though I cannot decide if it for the usual means of intimidation at first and only later determine he is simply interested in seeing all about me. I circle a little with him, skirting fast in a spin when he drew out of my eyesight around behind. “It is merely the flow of the energy from the earth through me. Why deny the desire to dance when life and limb are so eager to do so?” He seems to grow more concerned of me, more intrigued, perhaps, and it makes me draw nearer rather than further -- a common mistake I seem to make these days as it gets colder and I near my fifth year.

He laughs, but I can somehow tell it is not mocking, that it is as much an invitation as his large form bowing down with his head low near the earth. “Dance with me, lady? Answer the unheard call?”

“I should like to dance as well.”

And then it begins before I so much as bat an eye and the white female is caught up in much the same whirling and prancing as this strange male had been. The instinct to join is more than I can bear with two such creatures and she flings up her tail in a windmill as she tucks her hind end and whirls into a slightly spinning leap that jumps her well around and allows her to pivot into a double spin that slinks her against Samhain first and Natu soon thereafter.
