It felt strange being here again.
Zeltzin walked through the oddly open lands. Ears twitching and feeling so out of place being back in a land that she once called home and never wanted to leave. The russet, black and white girl came upon a border that smelled nothing like the one she was used too. Out of the woods and into the open air of the fields. She paused at the edge not daring to cross over out of respect and a little bit of fear. This was a different land, though it all looked so much the same she almost felt it held a heavier atmosphere than it did in the past. She wasn’t sure how to explain it though it was just not the Asteraia she lived in and there was nothing she could do to ever change that. This wasn’t her or Amoxtli’s first choice but Tick Tock said they could come right? Perhaps while she was here she could start opening up their diplomatic passageways a little more and heal those wounds as well.
Or have their worries be confirmed.
She shifted on her white paws then. Her mind leaving her and going out to the cozy den she and her Knight had shared here. Memories, so fond and wonderful flooded her. Her children were supposed to run the fields and her Knight the heir of the land. It wasn’t like it escaped her before but she was supposed to be the Queen of this land someday. Scarlett, Midna and Zelda the princesses. They still were, loosely in a way, but Zeltzin doubted they would ever rule this land in the way they were supposed to gain it. That was the life Jaidah had taken away from her family. Lucero gone, Minda gone with him and Iblis and Rhae buried in the land that was not their Kingdom but safe nonetheless. It wasn’t the current ruler’s fault by a landslide, if anything perhaps Zeltzin felt a little greatful that this female managed to toss the female who defiled these lands from the throne. She was just a little but it didn’t mean she missed the life she had here and now it was different and Zeltzin knew she could never return to this land so long it was under this ruler no matter how welcoming she was this was not the same home she had before.
There was enough of that though. Tilting her head back Zeltzin let out a call to the healer. She didn’t know the wolf’s, but she desired to meet with her. Work with her and talk about healing. Teach eachother in way. Zeltzin was a healer while she was in Asteraia she knew what the herbs were and where they were perhaps this healer knew even more? IT was just this training she needed now though then she could take the position her mother held as Shaman to honor her. Become the healer that maybe could have saved Rhae and perhaps could save many others so never again would she have to watch someone slip away that she loved.
Not ever again. This was her last step to becoming the wolf she wanted to be to honor those that passed and that was what mattered now.
