Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Maybe he was wise for leaving. He probably should have stayed away and yet this place draws him back. Nogitsune wasn’t sure if it was just the desire to return to his friends or if this place held a reason. Should it be the latter he wished it would reveal itself soon. His friends brought his mind ease and contentment and a willingness to stay, but wandering aimlessly with no purpose left his mind clouded and weary.

Long gray limbs carry Nogitsune across the lush green field. It seemed to be noon and the sun’s rays were soaking into his black pelt. The water looked cool and inviting. He earth turned sandy beneath his paws before wading in up to his chest. No one seemed to be that close to him and he was content with the other wolves in the distance. Surely he would have been a disappointment should his parents still be living.

Nogitsune could never find the path of his father and mother. Sure it had taught him many things as he was never coddled in his pup-hood. Maybe they loved him in their own way and yet probably not but it no longer mattered. The fem who now ruled his birth pack seemed reasonable enough although he has never met her face to face his father had a liking to her.

His mind wondered into an aimless troubled state thinking and overthinking. He had begun to laze in and out of thought hoping the moving deeper and taking a dip under could sooth his troubled mind. He pulled himself closer to the shore before laying half submerged and half on the bank trying to let his mind drift a way to a more peaceful place.
