Seasons come and seasons go and after a while they just start to run together. This summer had been quite a peaceful one. She was rather content with how things were, but lately Moladion had been awfully quiet. The boy that had foolishly challenged her had become a King and now he ruled the Moors. While he was here in Asteraia she took the time to teach him what he lacked, making it quite clear that he would never avenge his parents and proclaim the fields back to his family. Rather he could make his parents and his family proud by being a King in a new terrain. She taught him as much as she wished to tell him, keeping a few things away from him, believing that only her children were allowed to know the majority of her lessons. Both of her children were already half way to becoming adults and although she was proud of both of them, she was concerned with what would be done by the time they both reached adulthood. Both of them deserved the fields, but only one could truly take her place. Gunsynd in many ways deserved the pack, and yet, she knew her daughter wouldn’t do better anywhere else. Gunsynd could take over any pack he wished, Nevermore, well she was rather unique.
However, there was one thing she was concerned with when it came to Nevermore, and it wasn’t the obvious. The reason why the Monster was concerned for her daughter was due to the golden-boy from the Mountains. Ever since he came to the fields to live here her had been ever so close to her children, preferring to even sleep within the den she had given her children that happened to be nearby...so she could keep a close eye. She was quite a protective Mother and she had her reasons. Although she liked Galileo, his younger brother was something she was troubled about. She did not know what his true intentions were or why he wished to be so close to her Nevermore, but she believed he had nefarious reasons why he would be so close to her Nevermore. While her daughter was absolutely glued to his side, as well as her brother’s she wanted to know her assumption of the boy was correct. She wanted to make sure that her daughter would be safe and that when the time should come Rhett would not be a problem. Which is why she was here sitting atop one of the grassy knolls near the den, leaving Nevermore with her brother Gunsynd, a clear distraction, as she invited Rhett to come and talk...
