Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He hadn't been the best pack member in Glorall and more than that, he hadn't been a good brother. The last time he saw Samia, she had told him about their parents and it had hurt more than he would ever admit. Natu was his angel. She could do no wrong. He wanted to protect her more than anything and make sure no harm ever came to her or any of his family. She was gentle and kind of heart. She was perfect. His father, Fenrir, was his idol. He was so strong and big; it was all Thor could ever ask for to be half as strong as his father.

They had meant so much to him and now they're gone. He knew he wasn't responsible but it didn't make him feel any less guilty about not being there when they died. Not being there for them or for the family that was left alive. Samia must have needed him something terrible and he wasn't there. He carried that burden with him now always and it ate at him but he knew he couldn't stay away long. Glorall was still his home and Samia was his sister. She was his best friend as a pup and she would need him in her life, even if he was absent a lot. He could change all that now.

He made his way to the borders, happy to know that Eden still ruled. It was nice to have alphas that stayed in power, especially when they were good leaders. Eden wasn't an open book by any means but he was fair and straight forward and he had never led them astray. The pack depended on him and he on them. He would need to find Eden soon and talk about his future with the pack. That is, if Eden still wanted him there. He didn't feel that he had really had time with the alpha since their first meeting when Thor was but a pup. He didn't really expect Eden to remember him but he would make sure that he was remembered from here on. He wanted to be of use to the pack.

Thor found Samia's trail and followed it toward where he hoped her den was. When the scent got really fresh, he slowed down and cleared his throat.

"SAMIA, YOU THERE?"
