Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He watched her expression change as he mentioned being scared of the dark. There was a dark look in her eyes for a moment and he wondered just how much he had missed in his time away. What had Inanna been through? He felt regret in his stomach that he hadn't been around to help her fight whatever demons she now held inside herself. He should have been there to protect her. But he couldn't go back in time so all he could so was go forward and show her that he was here to stay. He wanted to know all about her and what he had missed out on. He would just have to make up for lost time. He would show Eden that he was loyal to Glorall, that he could fight to defend it. He would show Samia that he could be the big brother she used to have, that he would protect her. He would show Inanna that her best friend was back to stay, that her life would be just a little more amusing from now on. When he glanced over at her, he noticed that her gaze looked distant like she was thinking about something. He tilted his head.

"PENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHTS?"

He asked softly as he nudged her with his shoulder, giving her a smirk. Then she flicked her tail at him and said that she didn't need saving, even commenting that he's the one that might need saving. He laughed, his eyes twinkling.

"SOMEONE'S GOT JOKES, I SEE. YOU OFFERING YOUR PROTECTION, CAUSE I JUST MIGHT BE HIRING."

His smirk only widened. As she started to walk off, he watched for a minute, just admiring her graceful figure and thinking about how much he had missed her. Then she looked back and he tilted his head, trying to read her expression. She almost looked torn about something, but then she offered him a place and stay and his ears pricked forward, his tail giving a gentle swish as he trotted toward her.

"WELL, I WOULD BE HONORED. WE CAN BOTH PLAY A LITTLE CATCH UP. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU'VE BEEN UP TO WHEN YOU'RE NOT TORMENTING CRABS."

He chuckled under his breath and rubbed up against her once more as he brushed past. He couldn't deny that he was addicted to the smell of her and the shock that ran through his body every time they touched. He glanced back at her, nudging his head toward the beaches.

"CARE TO GIVE ME THE GRAND TOUR?"
