Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Inanna

It was very unlike her, to let her guard down around someone, but Thor was able to draw it out of her so effectively she could not help it. Her smile was genuine and sweet when he told her he loved her and she would hold the words forever, almost certain they would actually be a rarity. At least they would be coming from her lips. But still, he had managed to tug them from her. He went bounding away, racing along the route they had taken to get to the secret hide away. She froze in her tracks and lowered her head over the precious pearl. It would have crushed her to leave it here, and carrying it around everywhere, or trying to talk around it would have proven to be a problem. Glaring for a moment at the beloved item, she scooped it up in her jaws and trailed along after Thor. At various opportunities she would rub against him before dashing to or fro along the trails.

Once they were on better ground she glanced around before he raised the call. A low growl of disatisfaction rumbled in her throat. They were not near any of her usual caches. With a glance and a flick of her tail toward Thor she trotted off, searching for a nearby stash. She critically eyed a formation of roots and stone. Another growl. It would have to do. She dug a little into the roots and lined the hole the best she could with stones before gently placing the pearl in its safe. Carefully she toed dirt back over her treasure, followed by carefully placed leaves. Studying her work, she judged herself able to find it again. She even rubbed against a tree to leave her hairs, determined to return and to warn others away. Shoving away her anxiety she returned to Thor’s side after his call had faded into the air. Another deep breath and she settled beside him, a nervous grin on her face. It had been so long since she had interacted with anyone who could be a relative. Parental figures, yes. The sister of her newly declared love? She had no idea what to expect.
