Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Warriors are not born and they are not made,
Warriors create themselves

It was odd, terrifying and confusing for his emotions to be so completely and utterly changed within the course of a single moment. For nigh on a year, Aindreas had been utterly sure of his love for Stormy Horizion, but more than that of his unworthiness of her own love in return. But with his painful and sudden transformation, everything had evolved... including his heart. He could still feel the love he felt for her laying within him, but it was dim, as if it was naught more but a painful distant memory that would never again be within his grasp. Aindreas had gone over every scenario in his mind - why it should have changed, how it could have so abruptly faded from the present into the past, but only one single thing made sense. The voices that had spoke to him had mentioned a 'Soulmate' - one single other being that he was destined to not only be with but mate with. Who it was, Aindreas would get no say in, no opinion or choice. It could be the love of his life or his worst enemy... but he would know immediately, as soon as he set his eyes upon them that they were meant for him. Aindreas had hopes that perhaps since he had just only changed, there was still a chance for him and Stormy. Perhaps his body simply had not had time to register her presence, or was too weak after the magic erupted within him to notice her. But some part of him knew the truth - no matter what Aindreas wanted, he and Stormy could never have pups together. They could give their relationship a try, but it would never amount to love. She could love him, he could like her and be happy... but there would never be a moment in which he was completely and utterly content being with her.

It was frustrating and devastating. How much time had he spent thinking about her in her absence, how many of his actions had been guided by his complete and utter obsession over her and now it all accounted to... what exactly? Nothing. They could now never be meant to be. All he was sure of now of who he was not meant to be with. He had felt nothing when he had seen Khaleesi or Rift... and as already mentioned, Stormy. Curiosity had him slipping from the boundaries of his pack at the birth of the dawn, his long limbs effortlessly carrying him across the land with all the grace a warrior could have, his electricity pools sweeping the earth as he tried to decide upon where to go. Hesitation - the pause of his motion with a single paw in the air - was due both to indecision but also because he feared coming upon a femme. He both wanted to find his soulmate and dreaded it - would it wound him even more if he found her, for it would mean all chances with Stormy would end? It certainly would wound her...or would it fulfill him? The voices had told him that he would feel complete... but if it was a nemesis...

Everything could go wrong. Everything could go right. And there was a huge canyon of grey area in the middle where not everything was perfect, and not everything was a mess. But that was the way of life all too often wasn't it? Not one or the other, but a mix of both?

His pause ended, and he picked up an easy lope as his gait of choice to bring him across the lands toward his new goal - Cavern of Secrets. But even as he thought of it, a new name slipped across his tongue - Drylic Cofa - for that was its ancient name, wasn't it, the name that the voices had mentioned? It was a dangerous place for him to be, home of the vampires, his enemies. Turning slightly, he changed his direction to head instead to the stones. They were... important somehow he knew, but it seemed that that mystery at least was still hidden from his view. He quickened his pace, his heart feeling the darkness of Drylic Cofa's caverns from just thinking about it. Eventually he slowed to a trot, the hours of travel wearying him, but it was relieving too - to exert himself in this way. Another hour or so passed and finally he reached the stones at the base of one of the mountain chains, the new peaks that had rose up and out of the earth. Aindreas slowed and reared up, his front paws landing on the wall of the mountain, his lids closing as he listened to everything around him.

OOC - any female that posts to him will be rolled for as a potential Soulmate (he is a Tempest) - you have fair warning!
