Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Matianak watched Thor with a bit of interest. Hadn't Triton said his father was trying to move up in Glorall's ranks? Perhaps they could help each other, being pack-mates and all. She smiled pleasantly, a look that came as naturally as her twisting words that one did not always know where she might lead things. After all, if she intended to one day be Eden's Owl, to be able to do such things were necessary.

"I believe the pleasure is all mine, Thor," Matianak said with a slight wave of her tail, "Triton may be young, but a liar is one thing he is not." And that was something the pale woman should know, a soon to be master of manipulating words. Lies, half-truths, and even the truth, but could the world ever really know which was which in the long term coming from her lips?

Matianak nodded. No need to hide that information. "Yes, raised primarily by my father. Perhaps you know Underidge? He is a... unique beast with unique tastes," she said. It was about the only reference she would give to Under's relationship with Paravana. Her mother had died early in her life, and undoubtedly where many of her striking features came from. Yes, she did noticed Thor looking her over. Perhaps she might not sway him as she did Triton, considering the boy's mother was mated to the future... whatever position Thor pursued.
