Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The water was so pretty today! He jumped and leaped around in the waves, biting at the salty water and laughing as it sprayed in his face. What next? Charlie was nowhere to be found today, his usual bird friend having not been around the past couple days so he had to find other ways to entertain himself. He thought about venturing out to the free lands. Maybe he could find his friend Rurik or even that girl Dandelion from the Grotto. Or even make new friends! That was even more exciting! He finally trotted out of the water, shaking it off his fur before he took off down the shoreline, his paws squishing in the shallow waves coming up on the beach.

He saw another figure disappear over the dune as he turned his head, his ears pricking. "Hey, wait up!" He called after them, but they were already gone. Determined, he veered off and raced up the dune, coming over the other side and looking around. He couldn't find anyone. Scowling in confusion, he shook his head and trotted down the dune, heading toward the outskirts of the pack lands, hoping to pick up another lead. He didn't know why it meant so much all of a sudden that he find this ghost wolf but it gave him something to do so why not?
