The mare at least wasn't so intimidating. She was around the same height as Creed and her body language was friendly enough. She gave Creed space and Creed found herself relaxing a little in turn. The mare smiled before letting her know that the Common was safe but it had its own dangers. Apparently other horses could come here to forcibly claim others. Creed jerked her head back at the notion, eyes going wide as she snorted and stomped her hoof. She glanced around as if to make sure they were indeed alone for now. Hopefully there wasn't other horses around that would try to take her because she wasn't paying attention. The mare then told her of two other locations that were safer. Creed pricked her ears, feeding on the mare's words. "Do you know what direction I would go in to find those places?" She was grateful for anything the mare had to offer. The mare gave her name as Persephone. Creed smiled.

"I'm Creed." She felt it only polite to give her name in turn. After all, her parents had taught her manners. Persephone asked if she came looking for something or someone and Creed ducked her head some, a little ashamed after her big proud speech to her parents then where she found herself now, hungry and tired. "A new home. I left my family herd thinking I'd find adventure and happily ever after. It was all dreams, I guess. I only found sleepless nights and a lot of paranoia." Her lips twitched in a smirk as she pawed the ground at the memories of those restless nights.
