Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He could feel his heart bandaging itself up and picking up the pieces just by being with Talien. If this was what having an imprint was all about, he was just upset he didn't know about this from the very beginning. But of course not everyone got lucky enough to have an imprint like Talien. He didn't know what he would do without her. She was such a kind spirit and even in her own pain, she came to see to his. She really did have a heart of gold. He couldn't help but tease her about getting wet, wanting to move past all the sadness and find a new happy medium. He told her she would be dancing in the rain with him soon enough and she smiled, asking why she would do that when she could be in her den.

He couldn't help but chuckle. "Cause you can, of course. Besides, you won't get sick. I would never allow it." His smile softened. As she nipped at his cheek, he smirked and jerked back before nipping at her ear in retaliation. He thought he could see some hesitation in her eyes when he mentioned crab but she still seemed curious, asking if crabs bled. He thought for a moment before shaking his head. "Actually, no, I guess not in the usual sense. It's a weird texture to get used to but I promise, it's not bad." He led her toward the den where they were stocking food for the winter. Leading her in, he paused to let her see the den that he and Inanna used to share. It was warm and cozy with a feathered bed where they slept but now Triton shared the bed with him.

There were still her knick knacks, pebbles, and other things she had collected. Thor didn't know if he would ever get rid of them. He smiled when he looked at them. Then on the other side, there was some herbs that Inanna had collected for healing and in the third section, there was some meat stored under the snow to keep it fresh. He went over there and dug around till he found some crabs. Grabbing a couple, he came over to Talien and dropped one at her paws. "Here you go. If you don't like it, just say so and we can go get something else. Don't spare my feelings, okay?"
