PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

send me reeling, Kestral

i’m on fire, again
Dawn directs Rhadra’s next destination. The rising sun provides a brilliant backdrop to the mountain range rising over the land and she is inexplicably drawn to it, filled with awe as she makes her way from the Falls and toward the immense peaks slicing skyward. The range looms ever larger as she nears and finally Rhadra has to stop, her entire vision filled with the colossus before her, her heart swelling with indescribable awe.

“Wow,” she breathes into the quiet morning. Even the birdsong seems muted, their songs small in the face of this immensity. Rhadra has no words for mountains. She’s never seen anything like them before, and she is quite content to stand at the base of those incredibles slopes and stare upward, soaking in as much detail as she can. Trees grow easily on the slanted ground, softening its surface and adding lush green hues to offset the yellowing grass and stony gray outcroppings that draw the eye up the mountainside. Distant birds flitting between canopies look tinier than ever.

She has never before been so aware of how small she truly is, how little space she occupies in this vast world until now, standing at the base of Majesty. How humbling. And yet, how inspiring, too, to be witness to this greatness. Rhadra tucks her chin to her chest in a bow, eyes closed, as she breathes a silent prayer of thanks to be in the presence of something so magnificent.

Rhadra
